There’s nothing quite like sunshine, sea salt and sand…
Relaxation, sunshine, beach, what more could a girl ask for? If you’ve been keeping up with my Instagram you’ll see that I was recently on holiday in beautiful and sunny Bali. My little feet needed to get out of the sneakers and into the flip-flops just for a little while – it’s summer after all right? Here’s a little re-cap of a few of my favourite spots in Bali
Stay

We stayed at the new Ritz Carlton in Nusa Dua – this part of Bali is mainly resorts and beach so if you’re looking to relax I wouldn’t look much further than this. They also have an amazing Indonesian restaurant (I’m literally salivating thinking about their prawn cakes…) Another recommendation for a more ‘party vibe’ would be The W in Seminyak (also beautiful beaches, a little more in the town, and a lot of beach clubs!)
Check Out & Munch Out

Potato Head
Potato Head in Seminyak was one of my favourite little hang out spots – a Beach Club with a super (SUPER) relaxed vibe, sun, sand and pool – What more could you ask for right? To top that, the cocktails (mine, which I guzzled down, and mind you I drink exceptionally slowly) and food were fantastic – one of the best meals of our trip! I highly recommend the Bloody Mary and the Big Bang in regards to cocktails. For your tummy I would suggest the Mahi Mahi which melted in my mouth, or the yuppies – and for dessert (I am the biggest dessert queen around so take my word for it) we tried the cinnamon doughnuts to share with raspberry and caramel mocha sauce – they had this really unique filling, it was custard with a hint of lemongrass. All I can say about this is, Yum!

Elephant Safari Park & Lodge
Who doesn’t love elephants? I mean…they smile! So if you’re looking to get up close and personal with one of them, or you’re just an animal lover – you must make a trip to the Elephant Safari Park & Lodge in Ubud (Ubud is also just a nice place to look around!) Some of these elephants were previously abused and have been rescued but they are nothing short of adorable. You get to feed the baby ones and play with them (I can’t get over how cute they are). One of my favourite experiences of my trip, and all I wanted to do by the end was take one home! All the elephants are taken care of wonderfully!
Overall, it was a fabulous trip and it was so amazing to just get some time to relax!
