SKIN CARE MUST HAVES
This post is created in collaboration with Liberty London (Ad)
If you’re as skincare obsessed as I am, then you know that the Liberty London beauty hall is every beauty lover’s paradise. From the most incredible new face masks to cult serums, there’s something for everyone, no matter what your skin concerns might be. I’ve always battled acne- prone skin, but every trip to Liberty has left me with a product that has quickly become a part of my daily routine. Here are my three skin care must-haves!

Pimples are the worst, which is why I’m always looking to get rid of them as quickly as possible. This is one of the best spot treatments I’ve ever used, and you will always find it in my beauty cupboard or on holiday with me. Available in a tinted version as well, this formula is packed with tea tree so that it can treat your spot quickly and efficiently. I also love to use this overnight on my spots. This was particularly helpful right before our civil ceremony – bridal skincare for me was just not complete without this!

If you have sensitive or acne-prone skin, your skincare routine needs a rose spray. Not only does it smell amazing, rose naturally calms your skin and helps with redness and inflammation. I use rose sprays as a quick refresher during the day to keep my skin looking hydrated and dewy. You can even use it to set your everyday make-up and give you a bit more of a glow. I love this one from Susanne Kaufman – it’s easy to stash in your purse and has the most beautiful packaging as well.

One of the biggest myths I’ve heard is that you don’t need sunscreen in the colder months. This is not true, especially if you suffer from pigmentation like me; SPF should be a non-negotiable in your skincare routine to protect your skin from UVA and UVB rays. Yes, these rays are still there, even when it’s a typical grey winters day in London. A lot of women with acne-prone skin tell me how difficult it is to find an SPF that doesn’t clog the skin and cause more breakouts, but lucky for you, I’ve found it! Dr Barbara Sturms Sun Drops in SPF 50 are perfect for everyday use. You can use them as their own step in your skin routine or add them to your moisturiser if you’re on the go. They mattify the skin slightly but without any clogging.
