I was one of those Obsessive Compulsive Daughters (OCD) who needed all her crayons to be organised from darkest shade to lightest shade within the colour families. Accuracy is key is it not?

Post this process, I would return to happily painting, in the lines of course, the flowers in my colouring book. Now, I’m unsure whether it was an innate desire to be as neat as possible (my mother will tell you, this is not always the case!), or whether it was an incredibly fine tune ability to combine colours, or simply being lucky in predicting fashion’s future, but pink and red always wound up next to each other. 

It seems it worked out well for me in the end, because pink and red is a colour combination from heaven.
