Don’t let the rainy weather dampen your mood this Monday! I’m here to inspire you with another dose of my Monday update! In other news, I tried the new Nobu restaurant at the Nobu Hotel in Shoreditch! The food was PHENOMENAL! I’m a huge foodie and I loved that they had special Shoreditch specials. Friday Favourites #12

Happy Friday! A lot of you have been messaging me about beauty favourites and as we finally hit the warmer months, it’s time to spring clean your beauty routine! Getting your skin ready for spring and summer with a specialised spring beauty routine is something that I want to talk to you about in more depth through the coming months. For today though, let’s start with some of my favourites to getting your skin looking as bright and beautiful as possible!

One of the most important parts of any routine is SPF. Whether it’s a sunny day or not, UV rays can affect your skin in so many negative ways and it’s important to protect yourself!

This cream from Perricone MD is perfect for city life because it not only is SPF 30 but creates a barrier between your skin and the harsh pollution of a city! I’ve been using it every single day and I couldn’t been happier! A cult favourite for me now!

Under eye cream is as important as any day cream in your bathroom cupboard! I’ve been using this one from Shishedo as as has my mother. We’ve both seen such a change in our under eye complexion. This cream is great for helping with fine lines, and puffiness! I’ve recommended it to a few of you now and wanted to share it with all my readers!

Your face is one thing, but don’t forget about your legs! It’s time to shed any dry and old skin and encourage cell and skin rejuvenation! A good scrub is the perfect way to get your legs looking fresh and gorgeous! I personally love this one from Aesop and have been using it for years now! It’s a must have for sure!

Every new season needs a new scent too doesn’t it? A few weeks ago I covered this beautiful Chloe perfume; Nomade. I love how it’s a mix of summer florals and citrus. It sits so beautifully on the skin and develops through the day into such a fresh scent! If you’re looking for a new perfume, I recommend this one!

Last but not least, I find that I like to swap out my body moisturiser for body oils during the summer. It’s a bit more light weight and they usually smell heavenly. My latest addition to my beauty cabinet is this Rose oil from Ouai. It’s for body and hair but I use it mainly on my body because I love how it makes my skin shine!

Workwear Inspired: What I Wear To Meetings As A Blogger

A Chic Office Outfit For You & Me…

A lot of you ask me what life as a blogger is like. I know a lot of people wonder what a daily routine as a blogger is like, especially because our days consist of much more than just taking the perfect Instagram shot. A part of my job is constantly meeting with brands, PR firms and other industry members. It’s the blogger version of an office meeting, which means that dressing to impress is a must! Although my idea of workwear/”office” appropriate attire may be slightly different than yours, today’s outfit is directly inspired by chic workwear!

If you think back to last month, I posted a cheeky mirror selfie in these fabulous high waisted Topshop trousers. I got so many questions about this pair and today I’m finally able to share this outfit with you. A high waisted pair of trousers, especially a beige pair, is a must-have in any workwear wardrobe. Not only is it a stylish alternative to the usual black and navy, the style just oozes chic! Plus, it’s totally appropriate for any office environment (as confirmed by my amazing boss babe friends!). Of course, I had to add my TSS flair to the look, because a blogger workwear outfit is always a little different! I paired my trousers with this gorgeous tie back sweater. I love how the back is slightly open, the bows are so dainty!

Accessories are always key to any look and this look needed a dash of colour! This & Other Stories clutch is so perfect because it fits all my meeting essentials and is so chic! I’m a sucker for plaid and this colour scheme is so gorgeous for the summer! You can even pair it with a t-shirt dress for a more casual look! Completed with my new Ray-Bans and my Jimmy Choo heels!

The Spring Outfit Formula That Will Give You The Perfect Look Everytime

The Perfect Spring Outfit, Every Single Time…

After the beautiful heatwave we had in London this weekend, it’s safe to say we are all in the spring mood! When trying to figure out what to wear, it can be difficult to come up with the perfect spring outfit (especially when the weather is quite temperamental!). You all know how much I love a good outfit formula, and today I’m bringing you the perfect outfit formula for spring to guarantee you have the cutest outfit every time! It’s as simple as one, two and three!

1. Grab your favourite spring/summer blouse.
This season I am really loving off shoulder peasant blouses and wrap details. This gorgeous top from Esse Vie has both! This top is named Bettina, which if I am not mistaken is named after the super talented stylist and Instagram sensation. If she loves it, I think it’s safe to say it’s worth your attention! I’ve also linked to a few more affordable options below that will last you all the way until the end of summer!

2. Reach for a midi skirt.
A midi skirt is perfect for spring because it’s not too short and not too long! It’s just right for the weather. When paired with a summer blouse like the one I’m wearing, it can make the outfit look more elegant, making it ideal and appropriate for almost any occasion! Check out the ones I’ve linked to below!

3. Add some colour!
I love a good monochrome outfit, but whether you’ve gone for an all-white look, pastels, or black and white like me, make sure to add that something special to your outfit! The best way to do that is with fun and colourful accessories! Adding pops of colours with accessories allows you to really work some colour into your wardrobe while still looking elegant! I love this beautiful Louis Vuitton clutch (it’s actually a toilet bag but I like it as a clutch better!) but I’m really into straw clutches with embroidery right now too! I always find that a jumpsuit makes for an ideal casual spring or summer outfit. When it is as stylish and fashionable as this one though, there are suddenly so many different ways to wear a jumpsuit and make it feel like a fresh new outfit each time! Today, I wanted to focus on how to wear a jumpsuit for the perfect outfit this spring and why it’s the number one piece that every girl should have in her closet!

So, why jumpsuits? I fell in love with them a long time ago simply because they are so easy to wear! A jumpsuit always looks chic and fashion-forward and requires minimal thought and effort on your part! It’s one of the quickest outfit formulas, especially when you’re in a rush (or in a rush to enjoy the sun like I am right now! Thank god London got the memo about spring!). I fell in love with this utility style jumpsuit by Indian designer Deme by Gabriella. I love the silky material; it’s so lightweight and works wonderfully for the weather right now! Also, I cannot resist this stunning shade of yellow! It’s such a trending colour right now. I found some similar pieces here and here but Deme also ship worldwide!

The key to styling a jumpsuit is to accessorise. Since it’s one piece, accessories play a huge role in making your outfit stand out, and making the jumpsuit feel different every time. You can either dress them up or dress them down! I opted to add some definition to my jumpsuit with this vintage Celine waist belt. Adding definition to your waist is one of the ways to wear a jumpsuit when you are petite like me. I also added some height with my favourite block heels. How To Wear Your Favourite Plaid Skirt In The Spring

Plaid is trending this spring and here’s how to wear it…

When you’re thinking about summer outfits, you aren’t always thinking about plaid but if runway fashion has shown us anything, it’s that plaid is very much an all year round thing! I’ve always loved a good plaid skirt, and if you are a regular reader of my blog you would have noticed this for sure. Just last week, I shared an asymmetrical skirt that was, of course, a summer plaid print! I am all about making the most of the pieces in your wardrobe, and today I want to share a super chic plaid skirt outfit that you can wear this summer.

I paired my plaid skirt with a simple silk white cami and a cropped black blazer. The blazer is such an elegant shape and it made the perfect pairing with this skirt. It really makes the whole outfit look so much more luxe. I also love how the belt detailing on the blazer added a bit of shape to my silhouette and really helped define my waist! The two paired together make for an ultra high fashion look, even though the pieces are a mix of premium and high street fashion! Something about this elegant summer outfit felt very retro and vintage to me. It’s the perfect look to rock on a day you are feeling most in touch with your inner Audrey Hepburn (WWAW – What Would Audrey Wear?). I completed the outfit with my favourite embroidered flats. The pointed toe on the flats makes me look taller even though I’m not wearing any heels. That’s a great tip I’ve picked up over the years and works very well if you’re petite like me!
