TSS Update: June

Happy

Summer is here people! I repeat, summer is here! Grab your beautiful summer dresses, your favourite hats and let’s get to it! (Don’t forget the rosé) June is an exciting month because I’ll be attending my first ever international press trip with an amazing haircare brand. I cannot wait to learn more about their products and also see the amazing things they do to give back to the environment.

I also will be attending a wedding of two dear friends and I cannot wait to celebrate their love! It also happens to be taking place in a city I’ve never been too so I’m excited to also create some travel related content for you guys and share more on that front.

On a more personal note, I feel like May was a month of emotional growth. I was nominated for the Blogosphere awards under Blogger of The Year. I didn’t win the prize this year but I did feel that the blogger who won truly deserved it. I also felt so honoured to even be nominated so early on in my career alongside people who are so established in the industry. There was so much to take away, and to further inspire me. I can’t wait to keep going and doing more for myself and for you guys.

Another thing that happened this month is that I had a lot of realisations in relation to a topic that I feel really strongly about; diversity. I am not using that word in a buzz word sort of sense and there is so much I have to say about the way it’s being tossed around right now but you’ll have to stay tuned for that as well.

Okay, what can you NOT see in this photo? Behind every beautiful shot there is a story – and here’s this one. When we were in The Cotswolds, we drove by countless of these beautiful yellow fields. We kept thinking, how beautiful would it be to capture this moment? But I kept avoiding it. WHY? // Because I’m honestly so afraid of bees! 🐝 I was so afraid of all the flying insects, the pollen extravaganza waiting to attack my sinuses and on some level, creating a shot that maybe you guys wouldn’t actually like. BUT, you know what? // We got out of the car and we went for it. Luckily there were no bees, I’ve got an anti histamine for my hay fever and I hope you guys do like the shot! Remember that the hard work is worth it – and that there’s always a solution to the problem 💪🏽

Trust me, posing on a swing is much harder than it looks 🙊 The O by NARS experience was seriously amazing, with each room showing us a new surprise! In regards to the collection, I have been completely hooked! I hope you all have been enjoying the beautiful sunshine we have been having here in London! It’s been truly amazing and I am making such a conscious effort not to complain about it!

Monday Update #45

Spring has officially arrived in London (which means some sunshine and some rain!) and I couldn’t be more excited to abandon my winter jacket! I’ve been sharing a lot of spring outfit inspiration with you guys on the blog already and I’ve linked to some of my most recent looks below. As you saw on my Instagram, I found this sweater on Amazon Fashion! They actually have the most fabulous collection online and there’s a range of brands to choose from!

This particular sweater is from Warehouse and I just LOVE the colour! It’s so bright and beautiful and I’ve been wearing it on repeat because it’s an easy way to create a super chic outfit that is still relaxed and elegant!

I’ve been getting some questions about a good daily moisturiser for sensitive acne prone skin. As you guys know, I struggle with acne. (I told you all about the best foundations for sensitive skin here!)

I’ve started using a new daily moisturiser from Philosophy. So far, I couldn’t be happier with the results! My skin feels brighter and I love the texture on my skin! I think the name is so true; it really is hope in a jar!
