What I’ve learnt along the way though, is that this sphere can be an individual game if you choose it to be, but is also full of wonderful and like-minded people like you

When I started my blog around a year ago, I wasn’t sure where I wanted it to go, but one thing is sure, I wanted to make some sort of splash. Now, whether I’ve inspired you to try something new, or helped you think of your next outfit, or simply put a smile on your face, I feel I’ve achieved something – but more so than that, I want it to be a way for me to find my path, my path to making some sort of difference (stay tuned for that). What I’ve learnt along the way though, is that this sphere can be an individual game if you choose it to be, but is also full of wonderful and like-minded people like you, bigger or just starting out, who are waiting to collaborate and help you along your journey – Let’s empower one another. Enough of my rambles, here’s my current favourite uniform, and yes it’ shiny as hell – It really is a ‘Rise & Shine!’ kinda thing.

Off Shoulder

I opted for a more tailored version of the world’s current favourite trend. It contrasts my ripped jeans perfectly!

What is it about off the shoulder that makes us all feel prettier? I recall asking myself this question many years ago when I attended my first prom in a beautiful black number, also off the shoulder. Is it that feeling of embracing warm air? Is it the injection of femininity and flirtation that an off shoulder top or dress teases? Either way, there is no way you can ignore it this year. I opted for a more tailored piece in my Esse Vie top. The rips in my jeans, and pop of colour from my bag contrast it perfectly! What do you think is so wonderful about off the shoulder?

Unexpected

It was rather unexpected, London’s weather suddenly jumped from a back chilling, shiver until your teeth chatter, bitter cold, to a beautiful, suns out, buns out, flowers and bees out, kind of day. I suppose you could say that London is unexpected in a lot of ways, maybe that’s why we all can’t help ourselves when we discuss the unpredictability of the weather, it’s almost as though it’s a code to being a real Londoner. Either way, this spring, I vouch to minimise yet maximise, peacock dressing has never been my style, but playing with colours, like orange and pink, is a code I wouldn’t mind following.
