With the arrival of spring, I’ve noticed that everyone is pulling out their favourite pastels and floral pieces. For a lot of us that means finally adding white back into our wardrobe (although I am a huge fan of winter whites and neutrals!) One of the questions you guys have been asking me is how to wear white in the spring, in a fresh new way? If you’re looking for something different than the usual white top white jeans outfit, then this is the perfect cute spring outfit for you!

I love the idea of wearing all white, but I think it’s important to break it up with accessories and contrasts. For my look, I layered a white blazer on top of a pastel t shirt. To really make the look more elegant, I put my Dior D waist belt over. This is an easy way to make your blazer outfit look more stylish. I then chose to wear my favourite pleated white skirt. I love the dramatic effect the outfit has when I add in this skirt, especially when I’m walking (or spinning in my case!) If you wanted to dress this look down, you could swap the skirt for a shorter white mini, white jeans or even white denim shorts! The options are endless!

The key thing to remember when wearing white this spring is to try and add in pops of colour, even if that means a black belt and brown sunglasses. This just makes your outfit stand out more, in the best way possible!

The Spring Outfit Formula That Will Give You The Perfect Look Everytime

The Perfect Spring Outfit, Every Single Time…

After the beautiful heatwave we had in London this weekend, it’s safe to say we are all in the spring mood! When trying to figure out what to wear, it can be difficult to come up with the perfect spring outfit (especially when the weather is quite temperamental!). You all know how much I love a good outfit formula, and today I’m bringing you the perfect outfit formula for spring to guarantee you have the cutest outfit every time! It’s as simple as one, two and three!

1. Grab your favourite spring/summer blouse.
This season I am really loving off shoulder peasant blouses and wrap details. This gorgeous top from Esse Vie has both! This top is named Bettina, which if I am not mistaken is named after the super talented stylist and Instagram sensation. If she loves it, I think it’s safe to say it’s worth your attention! I’ve also linked to a few more affordable options below that will last you all the way until the end of summer!

2. Reach for a midi skirt.
A midi skirt is perfect for spring because it’s not too short and not too long! It’s just right for the weather. When paired with a summer blouse like the one I’m wearing, it can make the outfit look more elegant, making it ideal and appropriate for almost any occasion! Check out the ones I’ve linked to below!

3. Add some colour!
I love a good monochrome outfit, but whether you’ve gone for an all-white look, pastels, or black and white like me, make sure to add that something special to your outfit! The best way to do that is with fun and colourful accessories! Adding pops of colours with accessories allows you to really work some colour into your wardrobe while still looking elegant! I love this beautiful Louis Vuitton clutch (it’s actually a toilet bag but I like it as a clutch better!) but I’m really into straw clutches with embroidery right now too! The Under £50 Skirt You’ve Been Seeing Everywhere and How To Style It

This Skirt Is Your New Favourite Autumn Piece

When I spotted this skirt a few months ago I fell in love with it immediately. I knew exactly how I wanted to style it but I just needed the weather to get a little cooler. When I realized that it was under £50 I was even more excited! Such a steal! Fast forward to fashion month and this skirt was popping up here and there and I just couldn’t wait to share it with you. Believe it or not, this beauty is from Zara! I love when a piece looks extremely luxe but comes with a super affordable price tag. I think it’s super important to realize that your outfit doesn’t have to be expensive to look expensive – it’s all about mixing and matching!

So, now you have this amazing skirt – how do you style it? With the weather dropping lower and lower, the asymmetric hem of this skirt is perfect for an amazing autumn outfit. One of my favorite fall outfits is flowy skirts like this one with a tight-fitting turtleneck. (Remember how I said a turtleneck is a total must-have for autumn? See all my 5 must-haves for fall, no matter the season here) Having a fitted top with a loose skirt helps make sure your silhouette is not lost! I loved the idea of pairing it with some sock boots. Might as well show a little leg while we can right? Add a chic pair of sunglasses and an equally chic handbag and you’ve got yourself a gorgeous fall outfit!

As the weather gets colder, I would pair this skirt with a chunky turtleneck and stick a waist belt over it to create a more defined silhouette. Pair that with your favorite over the knee boots and you have another amazing outfit. How would you style this skirt?
