5 Unique Ways To Tie A Scarf

A fashion girls best friend, but it can sometimes also be your most boring friend if you don’t know how to use it, or rather in this case tie it! There are a million ways to tie a scarf and even a million more ways to wear a scarf but I’m here to show you five unique ways to tie a scarf! These are the five ways that are my most favourite and that maybe, you haven’t thought of just yet but will be dying to try now! I can’t wait to hear which style is your favourite!

1. The Belt

Forget your usual black buckle and opt for a patterned one instead! It’s sure to add the most beautiful pop to your outfit, and is a great way to mix and match patterns too!

2. The Strap

Embellished bag straps are a huge trend for f/w (See all my favourite trends here!) but what’s fashion without some creativity? Create your new favourite strap with your old favourite scarf!

3. The Choker

We’ve all gotten on board with the choker trend and we all love it too much to abandon it! So add a fall update to your choker style with a smaller scarf!

I think this might be one of my favourites – the coolest way to make any outfit, well cooler! If you’re feeling extra adventurous, tie it on your ankle instead of your wrist!

I’m not sure when I developed a love for crop tops – It could have been when I remember wearing my first lehnga (A traditional Indian outfit with a cropped top and a beautiful long skirt, you feel like a princess) Something about the whole get up stayed with me and has trickled down all these years into my wardrobe today. One of my favourite ones is this beautiful Veda Raheja piece – I love the marble print details on it (Marble print on silk? Combining my favourite things into one!) It’s actually a part of a gorgeous two piece set, but I really enjoy pieces that can be used in a hundred different ways and still look amazing! In this case, I dressed the piece down but I loved the result!

If you’re anything like me, one of my favourite pastimes is online shopping. I suppose you could classify me as a bit of an addict (The first step is admitting you have a problem? #RealConfessionsofanOnlineShophaholic) One of my favourite things, other than filling up my wish list on all my favourite sites, is discovering new ones! I recently stumbled across a brand new Italian e-commerce site, Gilmarlab. Although they are still small, they have such a cool selection of clothes, namely from No 21 and Iceberg. As someone who finds themselves on online stores far too often, I found myself going googley eyed over the amazing selection of shoes, bags and clothes that were just calling out to find a warm and snuggly place in my closet!

 

 

Plus, express delivery? Check! Right in time for all the summer trips you may have planned, or the fall winter planning you may be doing. (That’s right, I know the sun is shining bright, but it is time to start shopping for fall!) What I love the most about this new found online shopping destination is that each brand has its own little mini store, allowing you to browse the collection as though you were there yourself. I fell in love with Iceberg when I stumbled ‘into’ their mini store, and the list of things I suddenly wanted grew at a rate too fast to calculate – The combination of luxury and athleisure made every piece perfect for every day – Comfortable and beautiful? Yes please and thank you.
