OCTOBER IS HERE
A new month, new thoughts, new feelings, new pieces in the wardrobe.

The weather is no longer constantly rain, Mercury is out of retrograde, and Whatsapp is finally working again. Things are already looking up this October, my loves! At the start of every month, I like to take stock and reflect on where we are now and where we want to be. With TSS, I’ve been loving sharing more personal moments with you on my Instagram stories. I am SO excited to say that there will be weekly vlogs over on my IGTV. Who knows, perhaps the Youtube channel will make a comeback soon too! I am so proud as well to be a part of the Pinterest Class of Creators for 2021. You can check out some of my work here!
I’m so excited to dig into my autumn wardrobe with some of my favourite old knits, jackets and boots, and a few beautiful new ones! I’ve been wearing my new jeans on repeat, and I just can’t get enough of some of these beautiful coloured cardigans and sweaters! (Have you seen the one that looks like THAT Chanel sweater yet?) I’ve highlighted some of my favourite new pieces that I have added to my closet for you below!

On a more personal note, we are still settling down in our new home. It’s been a long process, and waiting for our furniture to come in has been equal parts annoying as it is exciting (Thank you, fuel shortages and Brexit). As I type this, though, I’m watching as they unpack our new sofa in the living room, and I cannot wait to accessorise, decorate, and jump on it and curl up with Harry Potter. I’ve been loving adding in all the lovely soft furnishings to our space, from some fantastic coffee table books to chic vases. I’ve linked some of my favourite new pieces that we have added below so you can take a look!

I have also been spending a lot of time on self-care and reflecting on where I am in my own personal journey. When Shiv and I were in Ibiza, I remember saying to him that I felt like I had lost a part of myself somewhere along the last year. I had let my anxiety and paranoia get the better of me more than I would care to admit, and I needed to get back in touch with the confident, fun-loving side of myself. It was small things. Constantly claiming to be an introvert when actually I can be pretty outgoing. Catching myself, putting my body down in the mirror. Simply not giving myself the space to be the person I know I can be. I’ve spent a lot of time this last month working on that, and although I know I’m not done, I’m proud of how far I’ve come.
My goals for October are to continue making our new place feel like home, continue to create content that can help and empower you, continue to work on being true to myself, being able to speak my mind with those around me without fear of judgement and learn how to put myself and my loved ones first. Oh, and get lots of cuddles from Shiv and Alfie, of course. What are your goals for October?
