Although the pattern on these shorts was bold, I couldn’t help myself…

Sometimes it takes a couple of days away from the city to calm your mind and gain some sort of control over your surroundings (as my father would say, it’s all about being mindful. I got a lot of mindfulness on my latest trip to Switzerland) but more on that later. Now I’m back to London and it seems that it’s my final opportunity to quickly throw on my autumn shorts before the weather decides that I should instead be sporting my puffer jackets. (Which by the way, are no longer considered 16 year old self, and very much considered in style right now) The challenge in this look were the shorts – when I bought them most people around me weren’t their biggest fans but it’s all about being versatile and being able to let the key piece in your outfit shine – a no fail formula I guarantee. That being said, I also highly recommend the perfect autumn trench coat over this, which is exactly what I did right after we took these photos!  It seems a majority of my October outfit ideas revolve around shorts or skirts I want to wear before it gets shiver in your thermals cold.

Zermatt Travel Diary

Sometimes you just need to switch off, take a train up to a mountain town and relax. This is exactly what my little trip to Zermatt was about! Spending time with the people I love while mentally rejuvenating so that I could get back in touch with my balance and come back to producing some amazing content.

We took the most scenic train ride up to the mountains. I had my very own ‘Girl On the Train’ Moment, the fashion version of course. I was wearing a Helmut Lang Sweater, Topshop tights, Louis Vuitton Boots and a Valentino Scarf.

We got to explore the town a bit. I loved that the cute windows on the buildings matched my outfit!

I opted for mountain cozy for this look with an ASOS Sweater, Zara pants and my Louis Vuitton boots.

We also discovered the coolest sunglasses store, Mykita! All the sunglasses were limited edition and after much deliberation over which pair exactly, I got one!

Of course, everywhere you looked the view was beyond beautiful! We trekked up a bit to go to one of the best restaurants in Zermatt, Chez Vrony
