Another month, another playlist. I’ve been a bit off my game in terms of sharing my playlists but I’m back with some new music for you to dance, chill or do whatever to this month!

Is it just me or is this Monday seeming a bit better solely because it’s a week of love. With Valentines day around the corner, I hope all your Mondays are full of lots of love and care! With NYFW in full swing, I’ve been keeping up with all the latest collections and sharing my favourite looks on my Pinterest! Have you had a look at that there? What are your favourite collections? Scroll down for more fashion news, as this Monday brief is covering all things NYFW so you can stay up to date with all the latest fashion happenings!
Since this Monday update is focused on NYFW, I’ve covered some of my favourite collections from the past week that you may have missed over the weekend. Keep scrolling to see them all and some of my trend observations! What has been your favourite so far? Do we share any favourites?

My favourite collections so far are from Cinq à Sept, Victoria Beckham, Self-Portrait and Jonathan Simkhai. I have been such a fan of the latter two since they came about on the fashion scene a couple of years ago and each collection just keeps getting better and better…

My other favourites included Prabal Gurung, Cg, Calvin Klein, Tibi, Dion Lee and Alexander Wang!

On a more personal note, this past week was a lot of work for me, with many special projects on my table! As a consultant there are so many interesting things that go on in the TSS office and hopefully I will be able to share that with you guys soon! I had a really relaxing weekend with a fun night out with my favourites, as well as just a lazy night in while I binged on all things candy (Yes I know.. cutting sugar means no binge days but what to do!) and Delfino’s pizza!

With NYFW drawing to a close and the fashion movement coming to this side of the pond with LFW, I will be attending a special beauty event at Lights of Soho, talking all things make up trends and lots of fun beauty tips to bring back with me! I can’t wait to share all these new tips with you guys and I will be covering the whole event on my Instagram stories so tune in to that on Thursday! What do you have planned this week?

My favourite items this week include..
1. Sun Necklace from Lucky Eyes London: I love this necklace – it’s so beautiful on it’s own and a great layering piece too! Check out my Instagram to see how I styled it!
2. Topshop Jacket: I love this tailored jacket – it’s incredibly in season for the next year but it’s also a great classic addition to your wardrobe! The shoulder cut outs add that extra bit of sass that I love in all my pieces!
3. My Porter Magazine Subscription: I have an obsession with this magazine. I think that the topics they cover are most relevant to what’s happening around us now and rather than focusing on trends, they give you a break down of the season and ways to stay up to date with fashion without compromising on classic style! Literally, if you don’t read this magazine already, you need to! The yearly subscription is £17 so it’s also super affordable!

The backless sweater is having a moment. I’m not sure whether it’s because we are all craving sunshine and spring time, or if it’s just because we like the appeal of showing off this part of our body, but ladies the backless sweater is feminine, and it’s here for you to style and wear now.
Yes, you will notice that I have marks on my back. Chicken pox left lots of scars on my back and over the years they’ve faded a bit but they are still there. Am I conscious about it? Hell yes you bet I am but at the same time I don’t shy away from wearing things that are backless just because of the scars. Backless sweater, dresses, tops, anything, make me feel really good about myself and incredibly feminine so I won’t let some scars stop me! Embrace your body ladies, there’s nothing wrong with it! I think thats the firs step to being able to wear a backless sweater – confidence! Just wear it with some fierceness and it already will look amazing. I think that tip works for pretty much anything. Confidence is the best accessory you own.

I think backless sweaters open up so many options for you. Whoever says you cannot wear it right now is wrong. Yes I know it’s freezing, and no I do not recommend ditching your coat to show off you back, but if you’ve got a lovely date night planned sometime soon, it’s the perfect thing to wear indoors! (Valentines dayyyy) Although this is an old sweater of mine, I’ve linked some of my current favourites below, in all price ranges!
What I also really enjoy doing with backless items, is drawing a bit more attention to the area with some delicate jewellery. It’s super elegant and it’s also a very fashion forward way of accessorising. All you have to do is take your favourite delicate necklace and turn it the other way round! Simple!

Let’s not forget about my Furla bag! You saw me sport it recently on my Instagram when I went to the new Furla store opening on Brompton road! It was such a lovely event (There’s more about it on my newsletter! – Click Subscribe on the top of the page!) I was so excited that I got to wear to style this bag. The pattern is really unique and the colours are gorgeous but at the same time, it’s a great bag to play around!
I find that it really brought life to my outfit here – business in the front party at the back! I paired it with an orange and pink combo which contrasted the blue pattern on the bag perfectly when I wore it to the Furla event! It’s the perfect size as well so it fits every single thing I might need whether it be for meetings, date night or shopping! This post is not sponsored by Furla, I just really love this bag…

There’s no doubt that you’ve been seeing this pattern everywhere. Much like vinyl, it seems that stars are having a major fashion moment this season on the street style scene, making it the coolest new micro trend around. What I love about this pattern is that its so easy to make it your own! I love stars, so adding it on as a brooch, or in shoes, or something bolder like a coat just adds that touch of fun and personality to your everyday style. Get the look by shopping some of my favourite star patterns below!

When I looked out the window today I saw that the sun was shining and I suddenly realised, Spring is around the corner isn’t it? Which means that as much as I am beyond excited for the cherry blossoms outside my home to bloom, to get all my summer dresses and spring jackets out, and to of course celebrate my birthday (Clearly the most important day of the year… Duuhhh!) I also just want to take a moment to enjoy wearing all my favourite winter things – like fishnet stockings, adorable sweaters and boots. Nothing quite says London winter like all black and buckling down with a pop of colour and a sweater skirt combo with adorable details.
When I found this sweater I was immediately obsessed with the gorgeous little buckle detail. Shortly after I stumbled across this skirt with similar buckle details on the side. I couldn’t resist the combo. It was like a match made in heaven, wouldn’t you agree? It comes as no surprise to all of you I’m sure that I opted for an all black look, there is nothing quite as chic and classic but I can never resist a pop of colour like this one from one of my favourite bags everrrrr.

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about my style and the evolution that it’s taken in the last year. I’m a big fan of anything with a little bit of personality, and I always find that little details count in making an outfit a little more you, but also eternally stylish. For me it came in the form of this outfit with all the adorable buckles and tie up details. What I love most about this combo is that it’s so wearable for everyday – no matter what you’re doing, meetings, lunches, drinks or dinner, this outfit will take you far!

Although some claim that an all black look is anything but exciting, I disagree completely. Take this one for example, with little details and a mix of textures with the fishnet stockings and the leather boots, the outfit has a whole new sense of style to it. Black is also a great colour to add a pop of colour with, something like orange or blue stand out so beautifully and is sure to get you noticed in the best way!
With this all in mind, I’ve been working hard on updating my Shop section (see above in the menu bar!) so that I can constantly bring you guys all my favourite pieces that are exactly what you need in your closet, no matter the season, trend or time! Have you checked out the shop section yet? I’m sure you’re going to love it! It’s full of pieces that have the perfect little details and help you really speak through your style!

Happy Monday! When I woke up this morning the sun was actually shining, which is a first in a long time. False promise or not, I’m hoping that the arrival of spring is imminent, like 20 days or less kind of vibe. It’s also the beginning of fashion month this week, which means a lot of new collections, trends, new designers at the helms of labels and countless of inspiration through all the street style! Are you excited?

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the new Furla store opening on Brompton Road! The event was held by Grazia and Furla together and really was a beautiful night! I got to sport this adorable little Furla bag to the event and will be posting more about it on here very soon! I also tried an amazing new website this week called Fucina! It’s Italian food and their truffle pizza is worth every drop of oil and calorie consumed….Trust me, for me to say that, it must be good. How can anyone say no to Truffle pizza?
