BEAUTY ON THE GO: WINGED EYELINER

Through this, I want to share quick beauty tips that I’ve picked up along the way either from friends, family or from the pros at fashion week or my experience with different brands. For the first instalment of Beauty on the Go, I decided to answer the age-old question of how to do winged eyeliner, especially if you are a beginner.

Now there are tons of winged eyeliner tips and tricks out there, including this one that I usually use myself. Recently, I went to the Code8 Beauty Counter and their head makeup artist shared an even easier trick with me. All you need is a hand-held mirror and your eyeliner of choice. When I say handheld mirror, I mean a beauty mirror on a stand like this one.

All you do is place the mirror down on a surface. Make sure it’s below you. Tilt the face of the mirror upwards and look down into it while standing above it. What you will notice is that you can see the shape of your eyes clearly, making it incredibly easy to draw on your eyeliner.
