A Street Style Star Proof Outfit…
A lot of us sometimes feel as though we need many stand out pieces to create that stunning outfit. Others feel as though you can only achieve that stand out look with designer pieces. The reality of the situation is that it’s much easier to create that stand out look. All you need to do is reach for colour, and I’m talking about more than one! It’s all about creating the perfect colour combination and today I’m sharing the number one colour combination to make you look like a street style star; blue and green.
What I love about this combination is that it makes such a fashion-forward statement without you having to try very hard. That’s what I love about styling, creating combinations that are easy going, but super fashionable! My outfit is mainly high street as well and the silhouette is so comfortable that I could wear this on the weekend, or on a day of meetings too! I picked up this oversized knit from & Other Stories recently and it’s one of the most fun pieces to style! The blue is so flattering and is sure to suit everyone! I paired it with my favourite green khaki trousers from Topshop, but I wasn’t done there! I couldn’t’ resist adding in my trusty beret, this time in a green too! I told you guys I had them in every colour!
By adding in some accessories, like these beautiful gold hoops from Misho, I was able to really elevate the look. What I love about this colour combination is that you don’t have to put in a lot of effort to look incredibly stylish. I was able to create a standout look with a few basic pieces! If wearing this combination head to toe like I did here is a bit too bold for you, you can even try something like blue jeans, a white sweater and green accessories! (Think scarves, bags, boots even!) Either way, this is one colour combination that will make you feel like the most fashionable girl in the room!
How are you styling blue and green together? Is this something you’ve tried before?
