How To Wear a Sheer Top and Still Look Classy

You Won’t Be Able To Live Without This Sheer Top…

The sheer top. We’ve seen it everywhere, from designers on the runway to Kylie and Gigi. There is no denying that the sheer top is not an easy one to pull off. You have to be careful to not show too much but at the same time to look trendy. So how do you wear a sheer top and still look trendy? I think that it’s important to choose the right shape and style for you. If you’re going for a sporty look, a straight cut and slim fitting sheer top is best. For me, I wanted something that was more of a statement piece. What I love about this black sheer top is the volume in the sleeves. The huge sleeves help make this outfit classier!

A good sheer top can also be taken from day to night. I got countless of messages from all of you when I put this top up on my Instagram stories. I wore it with these khaki shorts in the day for a more casual yet classy look and I switched to trousers on the bottom with a pair of heels for a more formal look. Either way, my sheer top did not fail me.

Sheer tops like these with so much volume and statement can sometimes seem intimidating to wear in the day. Pairing such a formal piece on top with khaki shorts helps to tone down the look for a more street style effect. I added in my trusty sneakers to make sure that I was ready for the day!

You Can’t Go Through Summer Without Trying This Double Denim Upgrade

Double Denim Gets a Summer Upgrade…

If you think double denim is all jeans and denim shirts, you’ve got it wrong! Double denim is very much a go-to summer outfit for me! It’s all about making it work with the right denim pieces, whether they are embellished or two toned! With the sun finally shining, its the perfect time to go for bare legs and a touch of bare tummy too! By this, I’m obviously referring to a summer staple; the crop top. I’ve long been a crop top girl solely because of how versatile and easy to style they are! When I found a denim crop top on my last trip to Bombay I knew I had to have it. The key to crop tops is balance. If you’re going for short on top, balance it out with long on the bottom! I found this gorgeous denim skirt in Bombay as well and I love how it’s not one, not two, but three different shades of denim! The length makes this outfit more elegant for a summers day as well! The Summer Way to Style a Striped Outfit

Summer Stripes for that Nautical Look…

Stripes are timeless. Regardless of season, or time of year, you can never go wrong with a striped outfit. Stripes dominate street style, whether it’s new street style or old, and you can always look classy in them. That’s why I think a majority of my wardrobe is full of striped pieces. For the summer I like to style breton tops – I love the very nautical French Riviera feel they have. Whether they are blue and white or red and white, a striped outfit like this one will not fail you this summer!

For a little bit more of an edge, I wanted to style this very classic piece with a not so classic skirt! I love the asymmetric hem the skirt has, and with some funky sneakers I thought the look had the perfect balance between city street chic and summer vining!
