So how do you spice up double denim?

Double denim, the Canadian tuxedo, whatever you want to call it – it’s been around for ages! It’s a classic combo that never fails you but how do you take that go-to look to the next level? Here at TSS, a part of my mission is to inspire you to try something new and embrace fashion as a way of expression. I think one way of doing this, is taking something classic and adding a touch of personality to it. That is exactly what I did with the double denim trend. I didn’t just want it to be a regular denim jacket and a denim mini. Instead, I opted for embellished denim.

This jacket has to be one of my most favourite purchases recently. I fell in love with it when I saw the embroidery at the back! (Very Gucci right?) I loved that it even had adorable embroidery on the front hat said “Oui Oui”. All in all, this embroidered denim jacket from Joie stole my heart. To really elevate the look, I paired it with my favourite denim mini of the moment from Topshop. I love the racer stripes down the sides. They really give the look a sporty feel!
