HAPPY HAIR
Thank you to Klorane for taking me on this press trip.

One of my most frequently asked questions is what is your haircare routine? What is the best shampoo for dry, dull or thin hair? How do you keep your hair thick? Haircare is such a huge part of my life and beauty routine, especially growing up in India where we take our locks very seriously. I grew up with a strict haircare regiment that was passed on to me by my mother, who learnt from her mother and so on. Of course along the way we all pick up our own tips and tricks, and I love sharing these with you. So when Klorane reached out to me to take me on a press trip (ahh my first press trip!) all about their new aquatic mint shampoo and conditioner, it seemed like the natural and obvious answer would be YES. Especially, since I have been using their products for so long (If you haven’t heard me talk about their peony shampoo then you need to watch my stories more!)
Through the trip we got to experience their labs where they harvest their own plants and flowers which are then directly extracted and used in their infamous formulas. We even experienced their green houses where they research various species of plants, some of which are endangered around the world. It only made sense that they had discovered what one might call a “super” plant, which also happens to be a magic ingredient for our hair; Aquatic mint.
Essentially, Aquatic mint acts as a natural purifier and is able to clean water from pollutants. It does this through its sophisticated roots system, and in this way, the Pierre Fabre foundation has teamed up with a local lab to use aquatic mint, in a sustainable way, to clean a local body of water that has been polluted with led and other metals from a nearby mill. It is amazing to see a brand give back to the local community to make the water they use everyday safer and cleaner.
It is this same plant that is also used to protect our hair from the harsh city environment and pollution. The leaves of this plant are used in the Klorane aquatic mint shampoo and conditioner. By creating a sort of barrier around our hair and sebum, the aquatic mint is able to protect our hair from city pollution and stop it from looking dry, dull, dirty and lifeless. This shampoo is all about detoxifying your scalp and hair because a healthy and happy scalp leads to healthy and happy hair. The best part? I got actual scientific proof on this trip that IT WORKS. If you want to see more you can see it all in my Instagram stories (I have a Toulouse & Montpellier highlight!)
Is this a shampoo and conditioner you would try? I recommend using it at least once a week
