What Is Resort & How To Bring It In To Your Life Now

What is “Resort” you ask?

The Resort collection. That collection that pops out of nowhere just when you thought fashion month was over and it’s full of all sorts of colours and summery items and you’re wondering, what in the world is resort? What is cruise?! (They are the same thing, I’m sure you’ve caught on to that now…) Well I’m here to once and for all clear the smoke (or in London’s case.. gross cold fog and mist) about the Resort Collection. The Resort collection is a pre collection shown before the S/S shows in February. They are shown from November till February so we can all start our sumer lusting, I mean, planning, in advance. The collection originally began to cater to the designers clients who would jet off to warmer climates during the winter months, but is now relevant to us all. How is that you might be wondering? Well, if you’re looking to start updating your wardrobe for Spring/Summer already, then the Resort collection is a great place to start! You can also keep track of the Resort trends and bring them in to your wardrobe during the winter months (Yes! Styling warm clothes for the winter can be done!) to add that extra touch of special to your closet, while easing yourself into spring! So, let’s get started shall we? Here are some of the key Resort trends and pieces to bring in to your wardrobe and how to style them!

I know that resort is forcing you to think about warmer weather already and you’re wondering, is any of this in for the next season? Yes it is! I will be going in to more detail about the best trends for the next season very soon as well so stay tuned for that!
