It was our very first time in Seville and we were attending a beautiful summer wedding (Don’t worry, I will be having a post on what to wear to a summer wedding and more about the perfect wedding guest outfit soon). I was so excited to discover a new part of Spain that I had heard so much about. Not only had I heard that it is one of the most beautiful places in Spain, but also one of the most romantic! Trust me, Seville lived up to all my expectations. So here are my tips on the best things to do in Seville, where to stay and the best tapas to chow down on.

Where to Stay
We stayed in the Gran Melia Colon which was a lovely hotel and very centrally located. The most popular hotel in Seville is Hotel Alfonso. It’s a beautiful property and if you don’t stay there I recommend popping by for a drink on their terrace.

What To See
Make time to see the Alcazar, it takes around 2-3 hours if you want to see the whole thing. I wish we had more time to explore all the little streets of the city but I would not miss out on Plaza De Espana. It is a beautiful square in the middle of a park. It’s the perfect photo spot as well and it’s truly stunning.

In terms of food, I highly recommend the spot we went to which was El Pinton.

What To Wear
I like to pack for a location and one of the best pieces of advice I took from Aimee Songs book was to look at the place you are going and the colours of the location and pack accordingly! I reccomend summer dresses in pastel colours or warm tones like red or orange. Comfortable shoes to walk around and explore and a chic fan because guys, its HOT.

Here is a look at my trip, what I wore to this wedding and where to get my look…

For the first night at this beautiful summer wedding I wore a floral maxi dress from Reformation. The style of the dress made it feel so grand. I paired it with my Kurt Geiger Leonie heels and this stunning fan I found on Etsy.

The next day I wore this handkerchief style midi dress from & Other Stories. I love the pastel light colours which worked so well with the city’s beautiful tiles.

I paired it with these super cool sandals that I found in a local London store called Emma Hyacinth. They are not available online BUT I have found a similar pair which i have linked for you below!

For the last night, I wore an old orange gown which never feels old when I wear it. This gown is from Indian designer Monisha Jaising and the colour always makes me feel so special! The fact that it was golden hour was even better.

My bag is also from an Indian brand called Manaaiki. They do lots of custom designs so I recommend giving them a look on Instagram. You can DM them for more details!
