Monday Brief #16

Monday, is it summer?

Is it just me or is it starting to feel a lot like summer time? I find Monday’s so much better to deal with when the sun is shining and I can abandon my jacket! Don’t you agree? I had a very busy weekend but luckily I was able to unwind a little bit last night and get ready to conquer another week!

I have a very exciting post with Joes Jeans coming up this week! More specifically, it will be live tomorrow so don’t miss out on it! I’m so excited to share my favourite denim with you then! Plus, I’ve been wearing the jeans on repeat! I also have a few other exciting projects coming your way that I can’t wait to share!

This Past Week

It’s been a super busy week, with lots to do but really I’ve been trying to focus on getting back on a healthy track! I’ve been binging like crazy (See instagram stories for more!) so it’s time to get that body back to normal! I did share a great post on working out, and how to motivate yourself to do so with the wonderful Psycle London instructor, and my super dear friend, Aanya! Be sure to read all about that here!

Monday Brief #14

Monday Ready!

Happy Monday Everyone! I am feeling particularly inspired this week because I spent my Saturday at the Career Girl Academy run by the boss babes at Career Girl Daily! It was such an amazing day full of so much inspiration from all the speakers who came in! I learnt SO much about blogging and I cannot wait to put all my new ideas into action! If you guys are interested, you can actually still buy digital tickets and they will be streaming the whole day for you to watch from home! It’s definitely worth it – I learnt so much from all the amazing talks! (Plus then you can hear me ask my questions too haha!)

This Past Week

Other than my amazing day at Career Girl Daily, I got to do some work on a content creation front for a very cool new make up brush company coming up called Loella! Go check them out here. Monday Brief #13

Happy Monday!

Is it just me or did this weekend FLY by?! It was all way too quick! I’m also ready for the sun to start shining again but it seems we are in for a couple of wet spells this week in London. -.- Other than literally devouring my body weight in dim sum over the weekend and finding the perfect spring essentials it’s been a pretty fun week here at the TSS HQ!

I’ve also discovered the amazing website Azalle! I love that I can take all these courses that are created by such amazing bloggers, photographers and influencers – such a fabulous opportunity to learn! I’m currently enrolled in an amazing branding course by Jenny from Margo & Me!

This Past Week

I’ve been loving the online course I’m currently enrolled in at Azalle.com and I highly recommend it for everyone! I’ve had so much time to think about my aesthetic and who I am through my blog, it’s been super enlightening! (Probably why I’ve been a bit quiet this week but don’t worry I’m back!).

I am also currently obsessed with this awesome new app called Style Counsel! It’s made by women for women – you can upload a photo of your outfit and women around the world, including bloggers and stylists, will weigh in on your look! It’s a great way to get some style tips and help super fast at the tip of your fingers! Check it out here

Monday Brief #11

Happy Monday!

Another happy Monday after an incredibly sunny weekend! I was very fortunate with the weather this past week, especially because on Friday was my birthday! I just turned 23 this last week and I had an amazing time celebrating with my nearest and dearest. I shared some photographs over my Instagram story, but will share some more with you here!

In other news, this Monday update is a little different. A lot of you have asked about where I read my fashion news, and whether I can share that with you guys. From now on, Ill be sharing some fashion, beauty and lifestyle news with you guys every Monday morning as well!

This Past Week

This last week was my birthday week, which called for a small technology detox. I was feeling so overwhelmed that I decided to just take a step back and really enjoy my birthday with the people who mean the most to me. I had an amazing day and had lunch at one of my favourite restaurants, followed by a fabulous dinner at Park Chinois – there were some amazing performances during dinner (including a sneaky strip tease?! :O) and we had a fabulous night. The dress I wore was from Self-Portrait and I’ve linked to it below in my new in! It’s a fabulous piece right?

Monday Brief #7 NYFW Edition

Monday, NYFW Version

Is it just me or is this Monday seeming a bit better solely because it’s a week of love. With Valentines day around the corner, I hope all your Mondays are full of lots of love and care! With NYFW in full swing, I’ve been keeping up with all the latest collections and sharing my favourite looks on my Pinterest! Have you had a look at that there? What are your favourite collections? This Past Week

Since this Monday update is focused on NYFW, I’ve covered some of my favourite collections from the past week that you may have missed over the weekend. Keep scrolling to see them all and some of my trend observations! What has been your favourite so far? Do we share any favourites?

My favourite collections so far are from Cinq à Sept, Victoria Beckham, Self-Portrait and Jonathan Simkhai. I have been such a fan of the latter two since they came about on the fashion scene a couple of years ago and each collection just keeps getting better and better…

My other favourites included Prabal Gurung, Cg, Calvin Klein, Tibi, Dion Lee and Alexander Wang!

On a more personal note, this past week was a lot of work for me, with many special projects on my table! As a consultant there are so many interesting things that go on in the TSS office and hopefully I will be able to share that with you guys soon! I had a really relaxing weekend with a fun night out with my favourites, as well as just a lazy night in while I binged on all things candy (Yes I know.. cutting sugar means no binge days but what to do!) and Delfino’s pizza!

With NYFW drawing to a close and the fashion movement coming to this side of the pond with LFW, I will be attending a special beauty event at Lights of Soho, talking all things make up trends and lots of fun beauty tips to bring back with me! I can’t wait to share all these new tips with you guys and I will be covering the whole event on my Instagram stories so tune in to that on Thursday! What do you have planned this week?

My favourite items this week include..

1. Sun Necklace from Lucky Eyes London: I love this necklace – it’s so beautiful on it’s own and a great layering piece too! Check out my Instagram to see how I styled it!

2. Topshop Jacket: I love this tailored jacket – it’s incredibly in season for the next year but it’s also a great classic addition to your wardrobe! The shoulder cut outs add that extra bit of sass that I love in all my pieces!

3. My Porter Magazine Subscription: I have an obsession with this magazine. I think that the topics they cover are most relevant to what’s happening around us now and rather than focusing on trends, they give you a break down of the season and ways to stay up to date with fashion without compromising on classic style! Literally, if you don’t read this magazine already, you need to! The yearly subscription is £17 so it’s also super affordable!

Gloomy Monday.

Can you believe we are almost at the end of January? 2017 seems like its another year that’s going to just go full speed ahead and February is almost upon us! That means spring is almost upon us, but at the same time I always find February to be the most brutal month of the year – it’s cold, it’s rainy and its just cold.. did I mention how cold it can be? New In this week – all the things I cannot wait to try and use! Firstly, my favourite new eye liner from Charlotte Tilbury! The shape of the eye brush makes it so easy to make the perfect flick! Secondly, I’ve added satin shoes to my shoe collection finally! I am so excited about these because of their gorgeous lace up details and I can’t wait to style them! I actually got them in red which you can see on my Instagram! Thirdly, how cute is this ruffle skirt from Topshop? So perfect for when warmer weather finally hits!
