Summer is here which means all our calendars are starting to fill up. A wedding here, a summer party there, a birthday perhaps and the list goes on! With countless summer parties to attend, we are all thinking about one thing; What to wear! Occasionwear can be tricky, especially when you feel like you need to buy a new dress for each one. Fear not, Boohoo.com is here to save the day! I had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with Boohoo and show you how to style some of their key occasionwear pieces for anywhere, any time! I chose this dress because it’s one of the most versatile occasionwear pieces around! Firstly, the cut and colour of this dress is a winner – you’re sure to be a stunner no matter where you go! I took the dress to the streets. If I can look and feel fabulous in front of a garage door, you can look and feel amazing no matter where you wear this! What I love about this summer dress is that you can dress it up or down! Add some statement earrings (maybe like my hoops!) and sparkly shoes with your favourite clutch for a fancy occasion. Attending a garden party? Then this is your ideal party dress! Swap the heels for your favourite sandals and throw on a denim jacket! That’s the beauty of all the pieces in Boohoo’s occasionwear section. They can all work for any occasion, no matter where! What do you think of my look? Where would you wear this piece?
One of the things I love is discovering new brands and designers and sharing it with you guys. I’ve always wanted TSS to be a platform that highlighted up and coming talent, bringing new and fresh pieces to your wardrobe and life! One of these new brands that I’ve recently come across is Laison. Using luxe fabrics and employing unique designs, Laison creates pieces that are effortless and elegant, yet bold. What I love most about the pieces is how versatile they are. These yellow trousers are such a unique colour but the classic fit makes them a piece I could wear anywhere, anytime. The bomber jacket is a favourite for every girl’s closet, yet the beautiful embroidery on it makes this one incredibly unique! Throw it on over your favourite jeans and tee shirt and you have a winning look! The final, and my personal favourite, piece was this gorgeous mint green top. With the amazing draping and the long back, this top would be fabulous for your next night out, but I wanted to show how you could wear this piece at any time. Paired with a denim skirt and jacket – it’s exactly what the brand aims for, elegant and effortless! What’s your favourite look or piece? What do you think of my new find?
Is it just me or is it starting to feel a lot like summer time? I find Monday’s so much better to deal with when the sun is shining and I can abandon my jacket! Don’t you agree? I had a very busy weekend but luckily I was able to unwind a little bit last night and get ready to conquer another week!
I have a very exciting post with Joes Jeans coming up this week! More specifically, it will be live tomorrow so don’t miss out on it! I’m so excited to share my favourite denim with you then! Plus, I’ve been wearing the jeans on repeat! I also have a few other exciting projects coming your way that I can’t wait to share!
Who’s already planning their summer trips?

I got to attend the beautiful opening of the new Astrid and Miyu store! I love their dainty jewellery, and all of it is really affordable! Right now I have my eyes on these cute little studs where one side is an initial and the other is a plain stud! How adorable right?
Is it just me or did this weekend FLY by?! It was all way too quick! I’m also ready for the sun to start shining again but it seems we are in for a couple of wet spells this week in London. -.- Other than literally devouring my body weight in dim sum over the weekend and finding the perfect spring essentials it’s been a pretty fun week here at the TSS HQ!
I’ve also discovered the amazing website Azalle! I love that I can take all these courses that are created by such amazing bloggers, photographers and influencers – such a fabulous opportunity to learn! I’m currently enrolled in an amazing branding course by Jenny from Margo & Me!

The 5 Essentials:
The Spring Edit
We all know what it’s like to wake up in the morning and think “What in the world do I wear today?” With a new season here, our wardrobes need a small spring update so that no matter what you may put on, uniform or not, your look is spring ready! For this season, there are five essential pieces that you need to create the perfect spring look – mix and match them, wear them all together like I did, or spice up your jeans and tee combination with one of them! No matter what you’re doing, these five pieces are a great way to refresh your spring wardrobe and spring look without having to break the bank! (There’s something for everyone!). Keep reading to see my five essentials to refresh your look this spring, along with some other picks that fit the bill!
1. The Blazer
The blazer is a capsule wardrobe must have and for spring it gets a colourful update! Ditch your black blazer for a coloured one (preferably a pink or yellow one!) for an instant and fresh update on any look! That burst of colour is sure to make your outfit stand out in a timeless way, no matter how simple! How’s that for a quick outfit formula for those hurried mornings?
If you haven’t noticed already, tinted sunglasses are having a huge moment. That retro feel is back and it’s here to stay for a while judging by some of the collections for F/W 2017. I love the pop of colour they add and that effortlessly cool look they give any outfit! Only thing – be careful not to stare, you can see right through! That happened to me only yesterday! Did you see it on my Instagram stories?
The straw bag is no longer for your days on the beach! It’s the perfect spring and summer accessory for any day out, city or sand! Coming in all ranges and sizes, I opted for a petite one with these adorable pom poms! You can have your pick from the many I have my eye on – I think it’s time to build my collection! A super cute way to add that beach touch to your look!
Cute Story about this bag! I ordered the bag over the weekend and thought I had asked for same-day delivery. I had accidentally asked for it to be delivered two weeks later! The amazing customer service (Special shout out to Kay!) at Avenue 32 brought this to my attention and then proceeded to have it delivered to me on Tuesday post the holiday. It was such an effortless and thoughtful process! (This is not sponsored by Avenue 32, I just thought their customer service was amazing!)

A girl can never have too many shoes, which is why your spring wardrobe of course needs a pair of spring flats! I think flats are so important for the season – the no fuss factor they add is exactly what we are all looking for as the weather gets warmer! For spring, look for backless mules, and extra points if yours have a touch of colour! I’ve been eyeing these shoes forever and I was so happy when I finally got them! Stay tuned for my edit on the must have spring shoes coming soon!

5. The Head Piece
Whether you go for a hairband or you go for a scarf, the colourful head piece is a must have for your spring look! It adds an instant refresh, making any spring look feel fresh and new! Pops of colour like these are fun to add and it’s a great way to experiment with pattern mixing as well! The one I’m wearing here is a headband and I’ve linked to it below. (I have a huge thing for hair bands that started way before Blair Waldorf..)
Spring is here and the March outfit ideas are all coming at you now! I’m so excited for all my spring and summer inspired outfits, especially because of all the gorgeous colours that we get to rock now that the sun is out! My favourite new colour combination involves a lot of pink and my other favourite colour, orange! (I also love red and pink – a classic!). Since the weather is much warmer now, I can finally pull out my suede jackets – starting with this blush pink one that matches so perfectly with my favourite orange sweater! I also loved being able to style the tie details of the skirt and the sweater together!
My accessories played a vital role in my outfit as well, I especially loved that my blush bag works so perfect with this colour combination. I also love my new Daniel Wellington watch! The classic feel adds the perfect finishing touch to the look! What do you guys think?

New In This Week
New In this week…
1.This amazing suede effect jacket from Zara – new spring favourite!
I’m writing to you not from London (which is where I usually am) and not from Bombay (which is where these photos were shot) but from Holland! I’m currently on a mini break in NL right now but I wanted to take this opportunity to share these photos that I shot while I was in Bombay over Christmas! I had the opportunity to shoot quite a few outfits with the very talented photographer there named Gaurav. All the outfits we shot however were for the warmer months so I’ve waited all this time to share them with you but I hope you like them!
This was one of my favourite looks from the ones we shot! Not only because I had just gotten the Gucci tee shirt at this time and was so in love with it (I am totally so in love with this tee shirt still – I can’t get over it!) but also because of how we shot it! I’m petrified of heights but we got up onto this tiny little terrace and Gaurav got up one level higher than me to shoot this! I was petrified of being so high up and leaning against the railing but the shots were so worth it and it was actually a lot of fun! I paired the tee shirt with what is actually a jumpsuit! I love the flared bottoms of this Reformation jumpsuit and thought it went perfectly with the vibe of the tee shirt (Love that jumpsuits are so multi purpose!) – the sunnies gave it that extra special retro feel!
